Christina Hovestadt is currently Manager of Community Relations for the National Football League (NFL), speaker, and Founder and Host of The Set Apart Women podcast. Her story didn't start there, though. As a former collegiate volleyball player, and as someone who struggled in high school, Christina knew the impact that a teacher and coach could have on a student’s life. After a brief stint of working in television news, Christina took her passion of pouring into the next generation into the classroom and on to the court by working as a teacher and coach at a high school in Florida. After losing one of her students to gun violence and seeing the real brokenness and hardships that students were facing every day, many times alone, Christina quickly discovered her passion and purpose for pouring into people and activating purpose. That passion quickly turned global when she served Executive Director of the Rashad Jennings Foundation, led by former NFL player and Dancing with the Stars Season 24 champion, Rashad Jennings.
While Christina is passionate about pouring into the next generation, she is also fueled by encouraging and teaching people of all ages and backgrounds how to discover and live out their God-given purpose, regardless of the stage of life they are in, what they’ve done, or the experiences they have been through.
Whether she’s speaking in classrooms, locker rooms or boardrooms, Christina’s message is consistent: Live intentionally and activate your life with purpose. God can, and will, meet you the most broken moments of your life to heal you, make you whole, and then set you on an adventure with Him to live a purposeful and
meaningful life.Christina was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and currently resides in New York City.
