Garrett was born in Dallas, TX and raised in central Louisiana and a pastor’s son. At the age of 12 he realized that  neither his parents, religion, nor a denomination could save him from a life of sin, death, and darkness but only Jesus Christ could do that so he gave his life to Jesus in his living room. At the age of 16 he surrendered to full-time ministry at a youth camp and began preaching the good news at the age of 17. Since that point, Garrett has traveled all over the world and spoken at outreach events, dnows, church revivals, one-day worship services, student camps, retreats, youth prisons, men’s ministry events  and a lot of street ministry.

Garrett received a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a M.A. in ministry from Criswell College in Dallas, TX. Garrett has passion for the Gospel and wants to see it passed down to this generation and the generations after.

He is currently serving at the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention as the Student Ministry Associate where he oversees all of student ministry and directs student camps and conferences.

He resides in Dallas, TX with his wife Rachel of 7 years, his white toy poodle named Si, and his son Graham. He is an avid Lsu Tiger, Texas Ranger, and Dallas Cowboy fan.

Garrett has an expository style of preaching where he wishes to leave the people with a desire for more of God’s Word combined with an evangelistic passion to see people come to know Christ and for believers to take the good news to their peers. He can provide a Biblical, organized response(invitation) time for people to respond to God’s Word with a call to salvation.
